CI Lead – Job Summary
Explains the function of the position within the Kraft Heinz Organization.
Under the direction of the CI Manager the employee will follow these job descriptions as it relates to the job title. The employee will actively participate in annual planning and daily level 1 & 2 meetings. Coaches and develops their team by serving as leadership coach and resource.
Continuously improves the quality of work instructions, and checklists.
Leads Transformation Analysis and Centerline definition and associated Standard development Analyzes daily line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities Leads root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the Process Coaches and develops Teams by building problem solving skills within the ProcessPrimary Function

Provides Management and leadership to deliver business results and operational improvements. Achieve safety, quality productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost and employee engagement objectives through both individual and team contributions. Develops, implements and promotes safety programs through involvement in plant safety team initiatives. Develops, promotes and supports continuous improvement and other cross functional initiatives. Participates in team goal setting/implementation to insure we are low cost high quality producer Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting and implementing process improvements Insures the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines. Comply with all established USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, Housekeeping policies and QRMP operating procedures Actively participates in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant goals Provide /insure all explanation of all deviations in procedures and line process checks Demonstrated expertise in: Basic problem solving (5-why, Root Cause Analysis) Yellow Belt qualified within 1 year Can lead level 2 meetings, and production meetings Participates in root cause problem solving efforts for their area Executes process control strategiesOther job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Computer skills, typing skills, and ability to manipulate data using spreadsheets Ensure all safety and quality guidelines are being followed. Maintain legible, neat and accurate records and reports Must have leadership abilities, positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills Must understand the plant document control procedure Must be able to demonstrate planning/organizational skills and behavior which will contribute to the overall team effectiveness. Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as work effectively with all associates As necessary, projects or other duties may be assigned.Competencies

Environment:
Indoors, primary production floor is wet, Secondary locations are occasionally wet. Environment is cold and some areas are hot. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, shoe covers, ear plugs, smock, mask and/or shieldsHours:
40 per week/ 8 hours daily/ 5 days a week – Hours and scheduled days can change due to business needs. Flexibility to adjust to shifts to work with employees from all shifts as required Ability to work off shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime if necessary.Education/Experience/Qualification
Associates degree in related field or equivalent in manufacturing experience, or combination of both. Capable of learning intermediate Microsoft excel, Power point, Word, and Matrics SAP skills. Strong planning/organizational skills and communication skills. Understanding of requirements and importance of documentation. Can understand and write SOPs, work instructions and reports. Project ideation, generation, implementation, and project completion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds. Knowledge of safety policies and procedures i.e. (lock-out / tag-out, confined space entry). Understanding of requirement and importance of documentation. Ability to lift 50 lbs.Disclaimer
