Your Role:
As a GMP Warehouse Operator 2 at our Cherokee site, you will play a vital role in the receipt of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment as well as the fulfillment of internal customer orders through the activities of receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of Life Science materials. Specific responsibilities include:
Receiving materials, products, and equipment, and storing them in the warehouse in an organized manner in accordance with process proceduresAudit inventory locations to maintain inventory and location accuracy.Contribute to the commitment to quality and safety through effective warehouse operations.Consolidates, straightens, and maintains warehouse areas.Works with team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot issues.Reports unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team lead/supervisor and in CR360Unload trailer using power equipment, verify freight and sign bill of ladingSort, inspect and receive in the appropriate SAP systemPut product away using RF scanner or computer systemResolve Product issues with ProcurementChecks chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing or receiving instructionsFulfill internal supply ordersDeliver product to internal customers and put product into storage areasPerform all necessary adjustments and moves in the appropriate SAP systemCommunicate with Procurement any discrepancies or product issuesMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assignedExemplary attendance and adherence to scheduleAssure safe operation of the warehouse processesEfficiently move materials within the facility using various equipment (e.g., sit-down and standup forklifts, pallet jack, hand truck) to pick, sort, and place materials in designated areasPerform all required SAP entries and transactions as required by Warehouse ManagementCommunicate with other departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Transportation, Customer Service) as required
Shift hours: 10:00am – 6:00pm Monday thru Friday
Physical Attributes:
Wear PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and glovesLift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted & move more than 50 pounds with assistanceOperating powered industrial equipment,Ability stand and move for extended periodsWork at times in extreme climates (high/low temperatures)Climb stairs, ladders and walk long distances during the workdayMove and handle heavy objects with appropriate equipment

High School Dipolma or GED
Preferred qualifications:
2+ years of experience in warehouseStrong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory complianceDetail-oriented and excel in managing documentation and complianceStrong professional communication skills to interact with all levels of staff, both orally and writtenProficient in inventory management systems SAPDangerous Goods Shipping CertificationThe ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and can work independentlyThe ability to solve problems and adapt to changing prioritiesProficiency with computers, scannersThe ability to contribute to a culture of safety and compliance in the workplacePowered Industrial Equipment certificationOrganizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills
