Purpose:
Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targets in the region. This position is
Involve in managing and directing the work of respective business unit in APAC. Focus on policy and strategy implementation. Oversee a cross functional team, which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth. Oversee the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business deals. Direct the planning and preparation of business proposals, and make recommendations to senior management.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an annual and 5 year integrated business and communications plan. Provides visionary leadership to a cross-functional team of leaders or a functional leadership team, which evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth. Oversee the development implementation and sponsorship of key projects. Provides guidance for the successful closure of business deals. Direct the planning and preparation of business proposals and makes recommendations to senior management. Provides strategic guidance for new product innovations. Provides governance and leadership strategies to ensure product profitability. Develop and track appropriate metrics to evaluate and report on effectiveness of assigned project / business activities. Ensure end-to-end process controls are in place for business activity seamless execution. Provides stewardship for utilization of new technology to improve processes. Coaches leadership team members to take on increasing levels of responsibility. Provide executive stewardship for strategic or major capital projects. Influence multiple stakeholders to obtain buy in to major strategic initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate strategy discussions with senior leaders. Provide guidance to senior managers on the establishment of analytical frameworks to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems. Align and work with global BU and functional leaders to achieve common BU business targets.
Qualification and Requirements:
10 to 15 years post advanced degree experience in management consulting, business development, sales, marketing, finance and/or operations management. Advanced university degree (e.g. MBA) or demonstrable equivalent. Advanced leadership and influence skills and demonstrated experience successfully managing cross-functional teams. High degree of comfort working in environments, which requires solving complex, open-ended issues with incomplete data. Excellent strategic thinker, with demonstrated strategic leadership results.
