Global Vendor Manager Operations Lead, Workspace Support

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. + 8 years of experience in vendor strategy and operations, either in vendor management (working at the client) or in vendor delivery (working at the supplier). Preferred qualifications: + Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field. + Experience in change management in a demanding, fast-paced environment requiring focus and productivity. + Experience with SQL or Looker. + Excellent executive presence, comfortable presenting to executive leadership. + Excellent problem-solving skills. As a Global Vendor Manager Operational Leader in the vendor management office, you will oversee a portfolio of vendor operations and partnerships to drive Google Cloud Platform (GCP) support performance. You will be accountable for vendor strategy and quality of service. You will lead initiatives to optimize work delivering exceptional customer experience. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. + Oversee a vendor network distributed across different sites or products. + Own and manage the relationships with the vendor service providers, own service delivery performance partnering closely with suppliers and internal Google Cloud teams to ensure quality output and successful customer outcomes. + Lead regular business reviews ensuring sites or products are meeting/exceeding targets and identify operational gaps using a data approach and develop innovative solutions to address these in collaboration with vendor sites and business stakeholders. + Understand processes impacting the operation (i.e. contracting, finances, capacity, workflows, etc.) and support the relevant stakeholders driving these efforts and act as the escalation point for internal and external escalations regarding performance or supplier relationship. + Collaborate with executive stakeholders across a, global organization, and execute operational initiatives.
