Key Responsibilities:
Execute the MRO transportation strategy through process ownership and continuous improvement at GE Aerospace distributions centers, vendors, and MRO sites. Contribute to strategy realization through influence and prioritizing actions with a global team of logistics experts, transportation and logistics suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Drive a culture focused on customer service, data, and process to attain best in class logistics tactics and cost in all modes of transportation. Problem solve system & operational constraints, carrier delays, impacting lead time. Lead cross functional working teams to solve complex issues. Own KPI’s and lead operating cadences as defined by FLIGHT DECKDevelop and maintain standard work; lead local sites to establish, document, and follow standard work. Provide support for complex shipment transactions, expedites, lost or damaged shipments, to assure timely material delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of logistics experience) + 5 years of logistics experienceDesired Characteristics
