Responsibilities
Serving as a subject matter expert on Intercontinental transparency reporting requirements. Staying informed about external developments on transparency requirements and related enforcement.
Taking a support role with respect to external advocacy on transparency related issues with regulatory agencies and industry associations. In conjunction with the Global Transparency Leader, interpreting transparency laws and regulations for their applicability and impact to GE HealthCare.
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders including regional compliance and legal, controllership, finance, sourcing, and business operations to execute deliverables.
Working with cross-functional business owners to resolve data issues, ensuring data is accurately collected and entered to the applicable source system, managing data reconciliation activities between the data repository and disclosure reporting,
Managing onboarding of new data providers.
Managing day-to-day disclosure activities during reporting period, investigate and managing remediation of any data issues identified.
Running data analyses on transparency data to help ensure completeness and accuracy, researching and generating insights based on the data, for example, trend and outlier analysis to identify areas for further research or remediation, identify and investigate data anomalies.
Developing a comprehensive understanding of GE Healthcare compliance policies, procedures, controls, systems and processes, as it related to Transparency Disclosure Reporting.
Partnering with cross functional business owners to create new business processes or close gaps in existing processes, identifying process gaps and working with appropriate Functions on corrective measures,
Creating and maintaining documentation for new and existing transparency processes, mapping upstream/source data processes to review for opportunities and improvement related to transparency data capture
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, J.D./Masters degree preferred but not required.
Professional experience in transparency and/or data analytics related work in the life sciences industry, compliance, law, internal audit, controllership, or related field.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong leadership with experience of managing and supporting a globally distributed team.
Player/coach who is effective in executing both individual responsibilities and team responsibilities.
Word, Power Point and Excel skills are required.
Professional fluency in English is required.
Foreign language skills a plus.
Desired Characteristics
Law degree, post-graduate degree in business or another relevant field, or a financial/controllership background.
Knowledge of key laws/regulations (e.g., FCPA and other global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws/regulations, AKS/FCA) and/or core GEHC compliance processes, policies/procedures, tools, and controls.
Lean or Six Sigma experience.
Proven ability to digest large amounts of information and distill it into the essential elements.
Proven analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills.
Process and detail-oriented, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Self-motivated with ability to handle a large and varied caseload simultaneously, to multitask, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
