The Global Trade Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting in Export Order hold management. This position will assist in collating broker reports to analyze trends in import clearance performance and assist in improving overall OTD to customers. This position will also assist in conducting internal audit on import shipments in designated countries around the world.  

This position reports to the Director, Trade CoE and is a part of the Global Trade Operations Team that sits within Cytiva’ s Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Organization. The position will be located on-site at a Cytiva location in India. 

What you will do:

Release hold on export sales orders by dispositioning restricted party matches and export permits on held orders. Support Global Trade Team in regional Trade Compliance and duty management programsWork in partnership with global and regional business stakeholders to support the execution of the Global Trade strategy to create data analytic solutions. Calculate and analyze monthly metrics on cycle time and other operational KPI for designated countriesRun various system-based reports and analyze them for actionable information. Conduct Post Audit of Import Decs lodged in Asia to verify accuracy and to work with regional teams to get amended declarations lodged.Analyze operational and compliance metrics and implement improvements where required.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in International Trade or Law.Comprehensive knowledge of Denied Party and Watchlist Screening and export hold release process.Experience supporting both import and export regulatory compliance programsSolid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and culturesAbility to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Minimum of 3 years of export compliance administration experienceKnowledge of US, EU, and International Export Compliance regulationsCustoms import procedural knowledge with if any customs audit exposure.
