Global Threat Intelligence Analysis Manager

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience leading security intelligence and risk mitigation strategies. + 5 years of experience analyzing, interpreting, and solutioning using data as it relates to intelligence and risk, addressing threats, vulnerabilities, or risks to the company. Preferred qualifications: + 8 years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external counterparts to support business leaders and build sustainable programs. + 8 years of experience in advanced open source research and investigations, and with conducting security risk analysis. + Experience leading and influencing others in an organization, preferably in a formal capacity. + Experience in communicating to a variety of audiences and explaining analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and alternate work hours as needed. Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) Global Intelligence's mission is to inform business decisions with trusted security risk analysis to protect Alphabet's people, property, and ideas. In this role, you will manage various creative groups of analysts on the Business Actions and Risk team who provide forward-looking assessments to a wide range of Google decision-makers and leaders across Alphabet’s product areas. You will apply your security acumen, and leadership to oversee risk assessments, intelligence briefings, strategic analysis, and vendor management. You will build trust within and across functions to inform your team’s work and ensure they know where to turn for security risk analysis. From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$227,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Collect, analyze, and disseminate global business intelligence to inform security action plans based on impact, credibility, and likelihood, and identify threats or global events and provide insights and opportunities on how to mitigate risks to Google. + Develop, maintain, and execute practices to assess and mitigate risks to company assets, and collect, evaluate, and disseminate accurate and timely intelligence assessments to appropriate stakeholders to help inform decision-making in crises. + Provide ongoing support for data users through maintenance of reports, queries, and dashboards, fielding user questions, authoring documentation, and delivering training. + Collaborate with representatives from government and industry peer intelligence organizations to share information or coordinate intelligence analysis. + Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate team priorities that support organizational goals.
