About the team:
This is an opportunity to join the Global Technology Finance organization acting as a subject matter authority on close related activities, forecast and reporting. Ideal candidates will demonstrate their extensive knowledge of US GAAP, accrual based accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and process knowledge to be able to analyze, consolidate and communicate financial data from multiple systems to supply substantial results to a winning organization. The successful candidate will find him/herself surrounded by sharp professionals operating in a fast-paced, intellectual, and team collaboration environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting support. Responsible for the execution of the monthly financial close, journal entries, accurate financial reporting of expenses, and hiring plansDrive analysis of cost trends and articulate related cause and effect to managersWork closely with Controllership team to coordinate compliance with US GAAP, ensure that the relevant financial control processes are used and appropriate audit trail maintained at all timesBuild and maintain positive relationships with various parts of the business to understand their needs and/or requests, and challenge methodologies to ensure balance between shareholders, customer and business partner expectationsContinuously identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in the operational planning processesProvide insightful and actionable monthly reports comparing actual trends against budget and forecast assumptionsBuild presentation content for Monthly Business Review of key metrics and expense driversExperience and qualifications required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or FinancePassionate about business and the related performance5+ years of finance experience with exposure to different areas (business analysis, accounting, FP&A, etc.)Experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, SAP[, BW, etc. is a plusStrong interpersonal skills and a proven track record to partner effectively with all functions and levels within the organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and manage timelinesAbility to perform in a matrix organization with multiple partners with a high degree of complexity and ambiguityThe ideal candidate will have outstanding technical skills with spreadsheets, presentations, along with proven financial analysis capabilitiesWe love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.
