You will be the Contracts Analyst Senior Staff for the Ops Support SEMAC/Central Procurement team. Our team is responsible for advocating for the best interests of the company in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Analyst Senior Staff, you will be responsible for providing specialized guidance on contract terms and conditions, regulations, and contracting strategies. You will work cross-functionally to obtain positive business results and support the Global Supply Chain organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing guidance on terms and conditions submittal, approval, and re-use process
• Reviewing, negotiating, and providing guidance on subcontract terms and conditions
• Interpreting regulations and contract language to ensure compliance
• Developing and maintaining processes, tools, and training for Corporate Agreements and Business Area Agreements
• Supporting risk mitigation and partnering with internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field
• Experience in contract/terms and conditions
• negotiations and interpretation (supplier or customer facing)
• Experience with US Government Contracting and the associated regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)) or Contract Law experience in another highly regulated industry
Desired Skills:
• Legal experience or education, such as a JD
• Experience in contract negotiations for
• Commercial/Noncommercial Agreements
• Experienced and effective communicator (written, verbal and presentation)
• Experience working for a large defense contractor
• Experience analyzing, resolving, and negotiating
• supplier exceptions to terms and conditions
• Experience in Federal procurement law and the
• Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
• Experience with Master License Agreements
• Experience with DFARS Sourcing Requirements and Compliance
• Experience within a buying or compliance role with a detailed awareness of buyer needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
