Global Strategy Manager
Company description Publicis Le One is a bespoke 120 person strong Publicis Media agency proposition for Haleon the newly launched rebrand of GSK Consumer Health, looking after flagship household health care brands such as Sensodyne, Voltaren, Panadol, Aquafresh and many more. This role sits within the strategy team delivering for the Global Marketing department for Haleon. Overview The Role: Sitting within the Le One London Hub you will be a core member of our strategy/client team, working directly with a Haleon Global Category client team on specific Haleon brands. Haleon are undergoing a period of evolution. To continue with their rapid growth they must make deeper, more persuasive, more emotional connections with consumers. You will play a front-line role in this journey by supporting the Strategy Director in building audience understanding and shaping communication strategy. You will work in very close collaboration with our creative agency partners to ensure we operate at the leading edge of integrated strategic media thinking and practice. Consequently, we are seeking candidates with local media planning experience who are looking to push their career into higher-level strategy at a global level. We are looking for driven and emotionally intelligent candidates who have proven client management experitise and who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our strategic client work and team! Learning Opportunities You will work very closely with both an Associate Director and a Strategy Director to develop your Strategic skill-set You will have access to a close knit hub-team of specialist strategists and media experts to tap into We will identify areas for improvement and work together to find and select training programmes to suit On arrival there will be time incorporated to upskill yourself in a broad range of areas Responsibilities You will report into Global Strategy Director and assist them in developing and deploying global brand strategies on a day-to-day basis. You will collaborate regularly with Publicis teams based in Haleon’s Design Markets to gain data and analytics knowledge that will feed into global brand strategies. You will work in partnership with your Strategy Director and creative agencies to help develop cut through communications and deliver our annual client scope of work and thought leadership programme. Specific deliverbales include: Support Strategy Director across all Brand level strategy – Audience strategy, Annual media strategy, Product launches, Market expansion strategies Manage market a quarterly submission of market report Oversight of local market activities ensuring they adhere to centrally developed guidelines Develop and implement efficient data and analytics processes across the team to streamline tasks working with account, strategy, and digital teams Assist in network management and best practice sharing across all disciplines, driving regular local market calls to build relationship and ‘one team’ spirit, champion best practices, and deploy & track key digital priorities. Qualifications What are we looking for? You are organised and very comfortable with numbers. You possess an attention to detail which enables you to interpret local market media plans and reports and come to the correct conclusions over whether they strategically align with Global direction. You are proficient with excel so you can create formulas to reflect data effectively and save time. An interest in market analytics will help bring the best out of your work and the way you present it to clients. You are confident and can speak up in a crowded room/ zoom call. You are a diplomat who can be assertive and authoritative to drive positive results internally with your colleagues, and externally with clients and other agency partners.
