Abbott Nutrition provides science based advanced nutrition products for people of all ages. As the Ingredient Sourcing and Risk Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to manage up to $100MM in Nutritional commodity spend. Be recognized as the subject matter expert in the category. Identify critical business requirements and implement procurement services that meet the organization’s needs. Manage supply along with working cross functionally with key internal stakeholders to build long term global strategies and ensure best cost of materials and services. **What You’ll Work On** + Raw material sourcing and Procurement optimization for multiple Abbott sites globally + Negotiate complex supply contracts to secure products that provide Abbott with a strategic advantage + Maintain knowledge of relevant market trends, behaviors, and proactively assess potential impact to Abbott + Establish Global financial strategies and execute to meet Abbott’s performance goals + Influence the business needs through cross functional development of category strategies + Ensure Supply resilience.
