The Solutions Marketing Team ensures Dematic’s product and solutions are positioned at the forefront of the industry and market.. Reporting to the Software Marketing Manager, the Global Software Marketing Specialist plays a key role in developing the positioning, proposition and messaging for our market leading software portfolio. This role collaborates cross-functionally to gather market, product, and competitive intelligence to inform successful strategies to grow the pipeline and drive profitable growth. In this global role, you will help bring new software offerings and features to the market, optimize the value of software through brilliant positioning, and articulate what makes Dematic different.
Tasks and Qualifications:Gather and analyze data on the customer and market, leveraging key insights to inform decisions
Understand the customer’s needs, challenges, customers, buying journey, buying criteria, and perception of valueAssist with voice of customer efforts and identify key themesUncover valuable insights that lead to breakthrough messaging and innovative products that solve customer challengesCollaborate with the Global Strategy team to share insights and advance organizational understanding of the customer, market, and competitionUnderstand market drivers, trends, size, opportunities, and threatsKnow the players, partners, and competitors by analyzing their products, messaging, and marketing to differentiate and position Dematic’s offeringRemain up to date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industriesLeverage data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessaryWork cross-functionally to execute strategies that drive business growth and reinforce brand equity
Manage various projects and campaigns for existing offerings and new product launchesAssist with key messaging and positioning that differentiate products to optimize software value in various markets and ensure excellent execution of the strategyCommunicate software strategies to colleagues in various functions (Product Marketing, Product Management, and Marketing & Communications) to ensure execution alignmentProject manage the marketing process from discovery ideation to execution, by ensuring defined goals are met, budget and timeline parameters are observed, the right stakeholders are informed or consulted, and execution aligns to strategiesHelp develop sales tools, training, and content along key customer touchpointsCommunicate software strategies and obtain input across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other global and regional stakeholder groupsProvide feedback to Marketing & Communications teams and agencies on content, collateral, and copy in the execution of GTM programsSkills Required:
2-4 years of professional software marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment1-2 years leading cross-functional teams and projectsExperience with Cloud software and SaaS offerings a plusAble to work independently with moderate directionLearns complex concepts quickly and thinks criticallyA team player and true collaborator with exceptional interpersonal skillsStrong analysis, project management, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlinesYou are passionate about technology and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skillsStrong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is requiredExperience with Salesforce is a plus
