At Kyndryl, our Cybersecurity Consultants are innovators, protecting organizations from known and emerging threats. As a SOC & OT Security Consultant, you will lead security operations, design resilient architectures, and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for both IT and OT environments.

Your expertise will drive SOC architecture, OT security, threat detection, risk management, and compliance, ensuring robust defenses for industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and enterprise security operations. You will collaborate with global teams to integrate advanced security technologies, automate threat response, and enhance cybersecurity resilience.

Key Responsibilities

SOC & OT Security Leadership – Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) infrastructure and Operational Technology (OT) security for industrial systems.

Threat Detection & Incident Response – Deploy SIEM, SOAR, and EDR solutions to proactively mitigate cyber threats across IT and OT environments.

Risk & Compliance Management – Conduct security assessments using frameworks like NIST, RMF, and Critical Security Controls to align with industry standards.

Security Architecture & Integration – Design and implement Zero Trust frameworks, cloud security strategies, and secure-by-design OT systems.

Innovation & Automation – Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to enhance security operations and streamline incident response.

Collaboration & Advisory – Partner with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to strengthen cybersecurity resilience.

Security Architecture Approach:  Designing key OT secure system architectures in the Purdue Model/PERA framework, including OT systems, IT Systems, network segmentation/micro-segmentation technologies, data aggregation, scalability, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.  Ensure systems support key segments into different levels to enhance security and manage data flow effectively.

Target Operating Model – Develop and implement a IT/OT process flow model and plans for Incident Response, Monitoring and Analysis to Continuously monitoring network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to potential threats.

OT/IoT/IoMT Security System Management and Optimization – Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of technology systems. This includes managing IT system and infrastructure dependencies are identified, ensuring system security, and optimizing the performance of technology resources. Continuously seeking ways to improve technology systems and processes within the organization.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned cybersecurity professional with deep expertise in SOC operations, OT security, cloud security, and threat intelligence. You excel in problem-solving, automation, and risk mitigation, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in SOC operations, OT security, and risk management.

Hands-on expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ICS security, and compliance frameworks.

Strong knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust, industrial cybersecurity, and emerging threats.

Proven ability to analyze, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats in IT and OT environments.

Experience working with global Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH).

Expertise in Advanced Threat Detection and Response for Industrial control systems (ICS) and the hardware and software that manage critical infrastructure.   SCADA Systems: Collect data from multiple devices across large areas, used in electric lines, pipelines, and railways.  Distributed Control Systems (DCS): Used in environments with many control loops, such as refining and power generation. Medical Systems: On-site medical devices like MRI scanners and infusion pumps.   

ICS410: ICS/SCADA Cyber Security Essentials (SANS)

Experience in customer advisory, security strategy, and risk quantification.

Knowledge of cyber resiliency, AI-driven security, and industrial security best practices.
