Location: Wrocław - 2 days office / 3 days remote

The role involves supporting the Global Skills & Careers Lead and team in maintaining and improving an enterprise-wide skills taxonomy and job/role architecture. This position requires engagement with business leaders, an AI Skills Management vendor, and Talent. Responsibilities include managing an agreed annual cycle for changes to the skills taxonomy and role/job architecture, ensuring accurate access to skills data and frameworks for EY Talent and workforce, and effectively implementing these changes across various functions such as TA2, L&D, Workforce Planning, and Resource Management.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Support the maintenance of the Global skills taxonomy at EY. Ensure the skills taxonomy accurately reflects the skills within the EY organization, working with internal business leaders and third parties where necessary. Assist Skills & Career Consultants in managing an agreed annual review cycle for the skills taxonomy and role/job architecture. Track all changes to the skills taxonomy and role/job architecture, ensuring governance decisions are recorded. Manage downstream impacts of changes to job/role architecture, including communication, technology updates, and other affected areas. Monitor role alignment across EY, ensuring alignment is embedded into existing Talent processes. Conduct analysis to improve career experiences and employee visibility and control over their development. Support Super Regions with Career Paths/Pathways implementation, providing guidance for adoption. Promote the importance of skills within EY and act as an expert on skills and careers within the Talent function and the business. Contribute to proposals for enhancing Global skills and career solutions, ensuring consultation with stakeholders and preparation of business case materials for investment through Global Talent governance. Collaborate with Super Region Talent teams to ensure effective implementation and adoption of Global skills and career solutions.

 

Supervision Responsibilities:

Work as a member of the Global L&D team to define and implement effective skills and career solutions. Drive continuous improvement of the skills taxonomy and role/job architecture by considering best practices and stakeholder requirements. Manage downstream impacts of changes in skills and/or job roles, coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Identify opportunities for change to global solutions, complete analysis, and propose recommendations aligned with Global Talent governance processes. Maintain effective relationships with other Talent Function Leaders to drive consistency and alignment.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Understanding of skills-based organizations and their contribution to high-performing workforces. Knowledge of EY Talent operations, including the Talent operating model and organizational structure. Familiarity with the L&D function service delivery model, processes, technology/systems, and roles, especially for Skills & Career solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proactive and agile mindset with a pragmatic approach to delivering services under cost and time pressures. Effective influencing and communication skills, with the maturity to interact with Global and Super Region Talent and business leaders. Ability to use Global Technology and relevant HR systems and knowledge tools. Due to the global nature of the role, travel and flexibility to work alternative hours may be required.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

Education:

Degree level education in a related discipline is required.

 

Experience:

Experience maintaining positive relationships at all organizational levels. Experience conducting impact assessments and implementing change interventions. Experience recording and tracking decisions and following up to ensure clarity. Experience working in a team to deliver quality outputs at pace. Experience assessing and scoping potential projects/change initiatives and developing business cases. Project management experience, proactively addressing issues to achieve outcomes. Experience working in fast-paced, demanding environments to deliver results.

 

Certification Requirements:

Higher professional or master's qualification in a related discipline preferred, not required. Active membership in related professional bodies or industry groups preferred, not required.
