The job holder will be accountable to support PT with world-class marketing capabilities that addresses, adapts, and shapes the pharmaceutical environment and that delivers real value for all stakeholders ultimately committed to deliver medicines to our patients in need. This position provides an opportunity for an experienced Global Marketeer to establish themselves as Brand Director for multiple brands, depending on the missions. Working within the Product Team (PT), also collaborating closely with cross functional team members and key Markets (as defined by the PT) to ensure co-creation of the marketing strategy and tactics for successful commercialization of the asset as well as LCM strategies. This is a Whippany, NJ based position. Relocation may be available, if needed. **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of this role, Global Senior Brand Director, Oncology, are to: **Strategy** + Lead and contributes to effective development and implementation of marketing strategies of the asset to enable world class commercialization plans; + Lead development of brand plans and manages interface to markets in the development of integrated brand plan; + Lead development of segmentation strategies (HCP and patient) and targeting framework; + Lead development of the unbranded and branded key message framework, message architecture, and integrated brand communications strategy (HCP and Patient) incl. training guidance in collaboration with key markets; + Develop Unbranded and Branded campaign in line with the brand positioning. **Country Engagement** + Champion global brand alignment by advising affiliates on brand strategy; + Coordinate the interface to markets for learning cycles and best practice sharing. **Global Activation** + Develop, deliver and evaluate integrated omnichannel plan and promotional guidance across multiple channels incl. leading global external initiatives and events (e.g. congress); + Lead development of Digital Health solutions that will drive differentiation and improve stakeholder’s experience; + Coordinate consolidation and interpretation of market understanding and competitive environment of the brand therapeutic landscape and implication on Brand development and messaging. **Project Management** + Provides strategic input into brand forecasting and business planning processes and partners with brand readiness team in the development of business cases for LCM and launch readiness; + Ensures resource prioritization and budget management for global commercial activities and takes enterprise view in resource allocation; + Monitor, revaluate, and implement corrective measures to global deliverables using data-driven mindset; + Manages key agencies. **Incumbent demonstrates, credibly embodies and showcases VACC leadership, with creative mindset, enabling DSO implementation** and being a(n): + Visionary who guides teams in defining the outcomes to deliver on the mission; + Architect who shapes a value creating system to unleash the passion and energy of our people; + Catalyst who removes roadblocks to facilitate connections and collaboration; + Coach who helps teams learn and build the capabilities needed to create value for the customer and stakeholders. **WHO YOU ARE** Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: **Required Qualifications:** + Minimum: BS or BA; + International/Global Strategic Brand Management experience; + Successful global or regional marketing experience is required; + Experience in managing external collaborations; + Excellent Communication Skills – Written and Verbal English Language; + Experience working in matrix-based teams. Strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions; + Demonstrated Cross-Functional Leadership Capabilities; + Experience in Oncology is required. **Preferred Qualifications:** + PhD, MBA, or advanced degree preferred; + 5+ years of experience working in key therapeutic areas in CV, WH, Ophthalmology, or Oncology is preferred; + Experience commercializing in key PT markets preferred; + Experience in a customer-facing position is a plus. Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $214,734 to $322,101. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
