Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Global Security Quality Specialist who is responsible for undertaking information security-related control testing, including planning, execution, and reporting on control testing. The role is global, hiring from the Global Shared Service Center (GSSC) in Romania.

The Global Security Quality Specialist reports to the Global Security Quality Control Director.

Role accountabilities:

Individual Accountabilities: 

Controls assurance testing:
The Information Security related Arcadis Risk & Control (ARC) framework is aligned to ISO 27001; the Global Security Quality Control Specialist is required to perform testing of controls within the framework including:

Organizing and leading control walkthrough meetings with stakeholders across the business. Determining procedures for control testing. Review of evidence to support control testing. Documentation of control testing procedures and results. Evaluation of control effectiveness. Communication of control testing results.

Controls assurance planning:

Communication of control testing requirements to stakeholders across the business. Planning and organizing control testing.

Controls assurance reporting:

Documenting and communicating control deviations. Agreeing on corrective action and timelines for control deviations with stakeholders across the business. Logging and monitoring corrective action.

Key Shared Accountabilities: 

Input into the assessment of the achievement of control objectives and the overall effectiveness of the control environment. Reporting on the achievement of control objectives and the overall effectiveness of the control environment. Periodic reporting on control deviations and corrective action.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ work experience demonstrated in information security/technology-related controls assurance, internal audit, or external audit. Preferably with experience in information security-related professional standards such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.  Demonstrates strong project management skills, takes ownership, achieves results, and drives improvement.
