**Overview**
The Search Director is a crucial senior role responsible for overseeing the strategic growth and development of several accounts within the search team. You will be a trusted advisor to senior clients and colleagues within the agency, working closely with the Search Team Lead. Together you will work on setting client business goals and developing the strategic direction of the Search team. Your primary goal will be to drive creativity, innovation, and performance across various client accounts, ensuring client servicing, strategy, integrated acquisition planning, and technological innovation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operational Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality Search campaigns through accurate planning and optimization. Continuously assess processes in line with platform changes and industry updates. Develop and maintain best practice guidelines to enable the team to deliver excellence from planning through to optimization, reporting, and financial reconciliation.
+ Media Planning Excellence: Support a team of channel specialists to create innovative media plans and deliver campaigns across various search platforms. Champion best-in-class approaches to campaign delivery, strategy coordination, communication, and innovation. Understand and communicate the role of Search strategies in achieving core client KPIs. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of key platform capabilities (e.g., Google, Microsoft, SA360) and discuss opportunities independently in client meetings. Recommend the latest media solutions, testing approaches, and guide roadmaps. Stay informed about media and technology developments that influence performance planning. Inform clients of innovative opportunities as they arise and their implications.
+ Client Sophistication: Drive product innovations based on client needs. Foster a test-and-learn culture, delivering on search engine diversification and transformational approaches. Cultivate senior client relationships and develop contact strategies.
+ Partner Management: Ensure excellent relationships with other agency partners and with media owners, to improve the quality of work and promote knowledge sharing.
+ New Business: Represent Searchexpertise in new business pitches as required.
**Qualifications**
**Who Are You?**
+ 5+ years relevant experience within a digital agency, specifically in PPC. Strong understanding of Google Ads andBing Ads.
+ SEO knowledge and ability to work with SEO tools is a plus.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions - particularly Excel & Powerpoint
+ In-depth experience and understanding of PPC across all key suppliers
+ Web Analytics understanding, particularly Google Analytics
+ Extensive knowledge & experience working with campaign & bid management software
+ Strong analytical thinking, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and writing skills
+ Experience leading client meetings
