In your hands._ **About the job** The Global Science Communications & Engagement Lead develops and executes the Science Hub's communication and engagement strategy in alignment with organization’s objectives. The role is critical in accelerating and bringing to life the Science strategy for Opella. This role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, enhance the company and Science Hub reputation internally and externally, and drive Science Hub employee engagement. This position requires a hands-on leader who will drive strategies and content development and manage the editorial calendar for the Science Hub including internal, external and executive communications. **Key Responsibilities** + **Strategic Communications Leadership:** Develop and execute the Science Hub's multi-channel communication strategy aligned with organizational goals. Serve as the primary advisor and contact for all Science Hub communications. + **Internal Communications:** Create high-quality content for emails, newsletters, Viva Engage, and social media to foster science employees' engagement and organizational alignment. Develop content to support specific Science Hub initiatives and programs. + **External Communications:** Enhance the Science Hub's reputation by managing external communications and preparing leadership opportunities for the Chief Science Officer. Work closely with media relations to promote the Science Hub narrative. Support the acceleration of the Science strategy through actively managing the science advisory board for the Chief Science Officer and their leadership team and partnering on activities such as the open innovation portal. + **Engagement & Change Management:** Collaborate on initiatives to improve engagement by embedding Opella’s culture throughout the Science Hub, developing tailored programs for the top leaders and supporting initiatives such as InnovAction Days, etc. **Qualifications** + University degree (Master, Ph.D., PharmD) in sciences/engineering; MBA is a plus + 7+ years of experience in consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical industry + Proven experience developing, executing, and measuring communications strategies + Experience coordinating change management projects in complex multinational environments + Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to create compelling messages + Strong leadership skills with ability to operate strategically across functions + Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all organizational levels + Fluent in English, both verbal and written Pursue progress, discover extraordinary Better is out there.
