The Global Salesforce CRM Business Process Consultant is a critical role within the Commercial Excellence & Customer Service Team, operating across multiple regions to support and optimize Salesforce usage. The Global Salesforce CRM Business Process Consultant will leverage expertise in Salesforce CRM, particularly in Lead Management and Opportunity Management, to drive business process improvements and enhance sales efficiency. This dynamic position requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing technological solutions, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving adoption of the CRM tool across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data management, and reporting techniques to optimize workflows and systems within the organization. This role will also involve substantial collaboration with marketing teams, business key users, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of CRM initiatives. The position requires a candidate who is passionate about driving change and working collaboratively in a global, diverse, and inclusive environment. This role will report to the Global Technology and OTC Process Leader.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive Understanding and Oversight of Business Processes: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each business unit's Lead and Opportunity processes, including cross-functional roles, responsibilities, and Salesforce CRM configuration. Ensure effective pipeline management through continuous monitoring of associated metrics and optimization of system utilization.Recommendation and Improvement Initiatives: Analyze current processes against best practices and recommend initiatives for improvements, collaborating closely with respective business teams to implement these changes.Salesforce CRM Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support, assisting employees in optimizing their use of Salesforce.com.Leadership in CRM Projects: Act as the business lead for CRM projects and processes, with a special focus on Lead Management and Opportunity Management.Best Practices Development: Identify, establish, and promote Salesforce best practices aimed at enhancing sales efficiency, improving lead conversions, and increasing opportunity win rates. Partner with the marketing team to boost lead conversion rates and generate demand for both existing and new products.KPI Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze Salesforce data to provide key performance indicators (KPIs), analytics, and insights that support strategic decision-making.Dashboards and Communication: Develop dashboards and reports for key stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and proposing Salesforce configuration solutions and automation opportunities to meet business needs and enhance operational processes.Salesforce Training: Create and deliver ongoing Salesforce training programs for Sales Teams to promote disciplined and accurate use of the Salesforce application.Data Management: Ensure the quality and integrity of data within Salesforce, overseeing data governance for account and contact information relevant to commercial processes, and understanding the end-to-end integration with service-related processes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in a highly visible and dynamic role that necessitates the establishment of an extensive internal network with business users and the IT team. Demonstrate a deep understanding of internal business processes and the requirements of our customers and partners.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field required. Project Management and Digital Marketing certificates are a plus.Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce key user and supporting projects with roll out of new features. Proven in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and best-in-class processes for sales management. Experience working for global companies or with diverse international teams is a plus.System/Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with SharePoint, SAP, and reporting tools is desirable. A Salesforce Administrator certification is beneficial, though not mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to obtain this certification upon hiring.Salesforce Integration & Business Process Knowledge: A well-rounded understanding of Salesforce applications within the enterprise ecosystem is crucial. Experience with Salesforce for Service is desirable but not essential. Candidates should show interest in mastering the end-to-end application of Salesforce, especially regarding Customer Experience Management.Analytical Skills: Expertise in designing and generating Salesforce and MS Power BI reports and dashboards, with the ability to derive actionable insights that inform commercial and technical teams.Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats to ensure clear information exchange and execution of responsibilities. This role will involve interaction with various business functions.Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a service mind-set orientation.Strong planning & organizational capability: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.
