Reporting to the Commercial Systems and Process Manager, the Global Sales Process Engineer is a subject matter expert in Esko’s sales processes and systems. You will actively participate in projects aiming at enhancing sales efficiency & effectiveness, and you are pivotal as a Salesforce delegated administrator driving the effective use of Salesforce for the Sales teams. The position will be located in Ghent, Belgium.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

As a Salesforce delegated administrator, you drive the effective use of Salesforce for the Sales teams by providing system support (e.g. via Standard Work & troubleshooting incidents), reports & dashboard support, and managing user roles, sharing rules & public groups. You also administer Salesforce’s data quality. You communicate and collaborate seamlessly with your fellow delegated administrators to maintain transparency and ensure a unified roadmap.

As a Subject Matter Expert on sales processes, you collaborate closely with adjacent teams, including Global Sales Enablement and IT. You contribute your process expertise while maintaining an open mind towards achieving strategic goals.

You feel comfortable working with multiple sales systems, such as Salesforce,  Salesforce CPQ, ShowPad, Maps, PDF Butler and Quotes. Drawing on your knowledge of Sales processes and your eagerness to learn, you are able to analyze Sales requests and translate them into global initiatives that drive business value. You utilize analytical thinking and problem-solving to achieve optimal results. You utilize data analysis to understand the current situation, ensuring informed decision-making.

You actively participate in projects aiming at enhancing sales efficiency & effectiveness, such as the transition to a unified quoting tool. You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

You exhibit a hands-on mentality by taking ownership and committing to completing tasks. Additionally, you are open to admitting when you don't have the answer and seek guidance. You embrace the philosophy that failure and learning are essential for growth.

The essential requirements of the job include:

3 to 5 years Salesforce experience with proficiency in database administration (familiarity with Salesforce dashboards & reporting is a plus)

Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, with additional proficiency in PowerBI being advantageous

Knowledge of Access is a plus
