The Role

This 12-month Fixed-Term Contract opportunity based in our modern Design Campus in East Tāmaki is suited to a competent and curious End to End S&OP Planner who has a strong supply chain background and is seeking the deliberate development of their career.

Tasked with the Overall responsibility for end to end planning through demand, supply, and inventory, for your respective categories.  Ensuring a highly optimised supply chain that delivers on our commercial and strategic drivers, identifying risks, opportunities, recommendations, and decisions, to strengthen the businesses performance.

Accountable for building robust scenario plans to support decision making and strategic progression. Balancing the needs of the markets, product lines and factories.

Highly effective in linking demand, supply, and inventory principles at all levels from factory to product line, category, brand, and individual SKU mix to ensure continuous improvement and balance within the supply chain KPI’s and performance drivers. 

Your main responsibilities:

Accountable for end to end planning to drive business performance improvements, including the evaluation and assessment of multiple scenarios.

Analysing demand plans, understanding volatility, seasonality, new product introductions and growth plans to support overall supply chain efficiency. Distilling insights to the factories so they have a clear understanding of the trends and changes to support manufacturing capacity requirements and labour planning etc.

Building robust and accurate supply plans, which take into account shutdowns, new product introductions, seasonality, promotions, capacity planning, case studies and new business opportunities. 

Analysing inventory settings, supply excesses and undersupply to support overall inventory health within product lines and markets, delivering to budget and the operating cash strategic imperative.

About you:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in complex manufacturing or Supply Chain business, ideally within a Global, multi-national organization.

Experience in planning with an in depth understanding of general supply chain principles.

Proven influencing skills with a track record of building sustained partnerships

Familiar with ERP systems, JDE an advantage

Advanced MS Office, in particular MS Excel and experience with analysing large data

A proven ability to interpret data and communicate insights to the business in a meaningful way

Confident leading cross functional meetings and influencing stakeholders

A high level of accountability and great time management skills.
