**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:**
**Strategy & Program Leadership**
+ Own the development and execution of responsible procurement strategies and initiatives across the organization.
+ Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to sustainability and compliance issues in our supply chain.
+ Develop and implement key performance indicators and metrics to measure and report on our ESG performance and impact.
+ Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and regulations related to sustainability and responsible procurement.
+ Develop and deliver procurement and sourcing training programs globally.
+ Track and report agility metrics, including In-Region for Region and Dual Sourcing.
**Supplier Due Diligence and Compliance**
+ Cascade strategic goals across sourcing teams and ensure alignment with segment-level objectives.
+ Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for responsible procurement, including supplier selection, evaluation, due diligence, and engagement.
+ Conduct regular assessments of our suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with our ESG standards and expectations, such as Supplier Code Due Diligence, Modern Slavery prevention and environmental risk evaluations.
+ Ensure compliance with global regulations such as CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, CBAM and Scope 3 GHG reporting.
+ Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to oversee documentation and reporting for assessments like EcoVadis and Ethisphere.
+ Handle procurement risk reporting aligned with enterprise risk standards.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and promote our responsible procurement vision, values, and practices.
+ Respond to ESG information requests and surveys from external organizations, including customer requests, by partnering with Third Party Compliance, Environmental Health & Safety and Product Compliance departments.
**YOU HAVE:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management with a focus on ESG and compliance highly preferred.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of both supply chain and sustainability issues and standards.
+ Strong project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and influence leadership.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.

**Pay Transparency**
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
**Compensation Range:**
$89,300.00 - $165,800.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
