The TJX Global Sourcing and Procurement (GS&P) organization is a trusted partner to our myriad of business functions. You will support the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans for large concurrent projects within Global Sourcing & Procurement (GS&P), including setting milestones, identifying required resources, establishing interdependencies & cross project timelines, to ensure projects objectives are delivered on-time.
Partners, collaborates and consults with GS&P leaders and management team and GS&P strategic planning team to develop plans to execute and achieve project/program requirements.Develops and manages relationships with GS&P leaders, management team and project teams to ensure that the projects are supported with the appropriate resources to meet identified needs.Partner with GS&P teams and leverages industry best practices to assist in the development, delivery and maintenance of project management standards/methods, tools, documentation and training to support the ongoing development of strategic project management capabilities within GS&PCreate and maintain detailed project documentation.Collaborate with GS&P Teams to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritizedEnsure team risks and dependencies are identified and managed. Accountable for identifying and manage risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline impactsProvides project management leadership and guidance to to help build knowledge and skill capability to manage a range of projects more effectively and efficiently.Accountable for identifying project roadblocks and issues and partnering with Leaders and Management Team members to develop solutions and mitigate risks, escalating to Leaders and Governance Committee when required to ensure project goals are met.Partners with the strategic project leads and team members to influence and guides multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assesses priorities of assigned activities and ensures integration of all dependent projects.Coordinate and track Strategic Initiative and Value Driver meetings and activity tracking.Supports the timely and effective project communications by partnering with Leadership and Management team supporting regular progress meetings, as well as preparing and presenting regular progress updates.Manages Business expectations for project engagement, time commitments, delivery timeline.Works closely with other key functions as needed (ex. Finance, IT, etc) to ensure project remains on track.Facilitates the gathering of project related information to create reports (KPI, Executive Summary) to monitor and report on the execution of project plans and its resources and capacity.Manages project change control process with leaders and team members, ensuring any requested changes to scope are reviewed to assess impact on schedule, cost and resources.Builds and manages a repository of all relevant project documents to be used as a reference point for current projects and as a learning resource for future projects.Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product deliveryWhat you’ll need
Excellent project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determining project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control to launch and manage new initiatives and innovations.Demonstrated experience in design and management of project documents.Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality product under tight timelines.Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners, to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with leadership and positively influence outcomes.Strong business writing skills with ability to write clearly and concisely, ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries, ability to write standard operating procedures and other business documents.Demonstrated management skills including organizational, interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management and information gathering skills.Ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization.People management skills including coaching, providing feedback to team members.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Identify and document business requirements and objectivesMinimum Qualifications

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
