About the Role

We’re looking for a visionary procurement leader to shape and advance Solenis’ Global Procurement Digitalization strategy. In this role, you will harness AI, data, and best-in-class eSourcing solutions to redefine how we buy, partner, and deliver value worldwide. Your work will directly influence how Solenis operates across 130 countries — helping us drive smarter, faster, and more sustainable decisions in support of our customers and our growth.

This is not just about deploying digital tools. It’s about being a global change leader — building alignment across regions, championing innovation, and taking Solenis’ procurement function to the next level of maturity. You will collaborate with IT, regional leaders, and category managers to create a truly data-driven procurement organization that sets new standards in efficiency, transparency, and impact.

Designed as a fully remote position, this role provides flexibility across Europe. We particularly encourage applications from professionals located in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Romania, and Hungary.

What You’ll Do

Own the Procurement Digitalization roadmap: Design and execute an enterprise-aligned strategy; drive change management and adoption across regions/categories.Lead AI integration: Benchmark emerging AI for procurement, implement solutions that automate processes, enhance sourcing outcomes, and elevate team productivity.Advance analytics & reporting: Build dashboards, spend models, and self-serve insights; codify KPI frameworks that improve transparency and decision quality.Govern the Procurement Data Lake: Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability; partner with stakeholders to prioritize high-impact data products.Be the global process owner for Coupa eSourcing: driving adoption, maturity, and advanced sourcing capabilities (auctions, scenario modelling, multi-round RFQs).Operational Excellence: Standardize processes, improve data quality, and manage monthly reporting cycles; monitor performance and deliverables for continuous improvement. Lead with a global mindset, balancing process standardization with flexibility to adapt to local needs.Global Change Agent: Drive cultural adoption of digital tools across a diverse, multicultural procurement community, ensuring global alignment while respecting regional specificities.Lead with partnership: Act as a thought partner to category leaders and executives, influencing decisions with fact-based insights and digital solutions.

What You’ll Bring

10 years experience in strategic procurement, procurement transformation, or procurement technology, with proven success leading transformation in multicultural, matrixed environments.Proven track record leading digital and/or AI-enabled program delivery with measurable business impact.Deep knowledge of procurement processes and tools; Coupa eSourcing or ScanMarket experience highly desirable.Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.Inclusive leadership and collaboration skills to influence across regions and functions; strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and coach peers.Given the pan-European scope, fluency in English is essential. Candidates who also bring language skills such as French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Polish will stand out even more.

Nice to Have

Hands-on AI/Machine Learning implementation in business functions.Change management credentials and experience scaling new digital capabilities in complex organizations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred. Equivalent international experience in digital procurement transformation will also be considered.
