Global Procurement Program Analyst
Overview The Global Procurement Resin Technical team supports the technical qualification and commercialization of existing and new PET and polyolefin plastic resins, including colorants and additives used in plastic bottles and closures. This role drives technical and commercial engagements across the supply chain, including resin, colorant, additive suppliers, bottle converters, and internal functions to assure supply, deliver productivity, and support PepsiCo’s pep+ sustainability agenda. Responsibilities Lead Administrator for Quick Base, global system for all qualified global bottle and closure materials Interpret PET & polyolefin resin, additive, and colorant specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand PET & polyolefin resin, additive and colorant requirements, and to identify/develop processes to improve costs for the PepsiCo system Develop and establish core competency in resin & additives to streamline future qualifications and reduce system complexities Lead efforts to incorporate functional resin, colorant, and additives which can improve bottle manufacturing efficiencies Improve and formalize PET & polyolefin resin, colorants, & additive approval process across PepsiCo global systems Lead PepsiCo in achieving its rPET incorporation targets by leading highly-technical qualifications, as well as develop industry participants in an effort to increase the percent incorporation per PepsiCo’s sustainability initiatives for global sectors Create processes to communicate updates to divisions and commercial leads proactively Setup and implement streamlined qualification protocol for rPET to enable increasing global rPET incorporation from current rates, specifically targeting global markets (ex. NA, EU) Lead quarterly technical review meetings with technical, commercial and other cross-functional teams Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,900 - $128,700. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually. Qualifications 3+ year experience in in rigids/packaging procurement or packaging R&D with emphasis on strong technical experience Comprehensive knowledge of resin/additives/plastics preferred Undergraduate degree in Packaging, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance and/or Business required.
