What you’ll do

At Vodafone, we’re on a mission to become a global leader in energy procurement—securing clean, affordable, and traceable energy to power our networks. As a Category Manager for Power Network Infrastructure (PNI), you’ll be at the heart of this transformation. You’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team within Supply Chain Management (SCM) Networks, where your expertise will help shape the sourcing strategy that supports our journey to Net Zero, ensures reliable power backup, and drives energy efficiency across our operations.

In this role, you’ll lead the sourcing of energy-related infrastructure—like batteries, diesel generators, and solar panels—from initial business engagement through to execution and award. You’ll take ownership of procurement delivery, evaluate supplier offers, and present results with confidence, working closely with senior colleagues to find smart, sustainable solutions.

You’ll manage the PNI supply contract landscape, aligning supply sources with business needs and our category strategy. Your insights will be powered by benchmarking and market research, helping to shape strategic decisions and identify emerging trends. You’ll also play a key role in driving our sustainability agenda, embedding it into every aspect of your work.

You’re quick to learn and can absorb large volumes of information with ease.Analytical & Financial Skills: You’re confident working with numbers and spreadsheets, and you enjoy engaging in financial modeling and analysis.Cross-Cultural Collaboration: You thrive in international, matrixed environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while working across diverse cultures.Energy & Market Knowledge: You understand energy market principles—whether from experience or personal interest—and are eager to deepen your expertise.Compliance & Sustainability: You’re familiar with business governance and quality management systems, and you’re motivated to bring our energy policy to life in your work.Stakeholder Management: You’re a natural communicator who can build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally. Strategic Alignment: You understand how to align category strategy with broader business goals, helping to drive performance across energy and infrastructure operations.Digital Transformation: You’re excited by digital transformation and ready to help modernize and digitalize our category management approach. Education: You hold a degree in Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science, giving you a strong analytical and strategic foundation.Language Proficiency: You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken, and can communicate clearly and confidently in a global business environment.Not a perfect fit?
