Description

Lead a global team to develop and implement a Direct Material global sourcing strategy to improve flexibility and supply assurance Work with materials engineering and the business to develop a global sourcing plan that aligns with regulatory bodies including PFAS and UL. Forecast containment and inflation projects for current and future years. Establish goals to improve trade working capital with increased payment terms, lower inventory, and shorter lead times. Develop a capacity and regionalization plan for each part of the commodity. Establish agreements with suppliers. Perform electronic sourcing bids & request for proposal events in Ariba. Collaborate with Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance (PPM). Effectively communicate, lead meetings, make presentations, and use tact and professionalism at all times by using core competencies.

This position could be based in Sidney, OH or St Louis, MO. or Chihuahua MX

As the Global Procurement Manager, you will:

Required education, experiences & skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related fieldEight (8) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experienceStrong project management skillsA strategic-orientated individual that achieves timely resultsAbility to review processes and provide feedback on how to improve the processesProficient with word processing, spreadsheets and chartsAble to travel up to 25% globallyAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred education, experiences & skills:

Masters' Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related fieldTen (10) years of experience in a Procurement function or related experienceMinimum of four (4) years of experience in Commodity Management Developing & Sourcing suppliers in Resin ComponentsPrior experience managing a commodity, global team, or large scope projectTechnically proficient to read blueprints

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
