Responsibilities The Opportunity As Category Owner – Facilities at PepsiCo Mexico, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and evolution of the Facilities category, managing a spend of over $90M USD. This category includes Security, Cleaning, Canteen Services, Waste Management, Water Treatment, and Building Maintenance. You will play a key role in transforming this function into a regional strategic lever, acting as a change agent aligned with the LatAm Center of Excellence (COE). This position includes the management of a direct team and requires strong leadership to drive compliance, efficiency, and innovation. The Category Owner will also lead projects to achieve regional productivity and sustainability targets. Your Impact As Global Procurement Associate Manager, your impact will include: Strategic Execution & Governance Develop and implement the 12-month local strategy aligned with the 3-year LatAm COE plan. Deliver Mexico’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives within your category scope. Lead sourcing strategy development using the 8-step methodology. Strengthen governance by improving visibility, project prioritization, role clarity, budgeting, and benefits tracking. Cost & Productivity Management Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and innovation solutions to support productivity and sustainability targets. Develop and lead a sustainable inflation mitigation mechanism to achieve Net Zero Opex Inflation. Analyze industry cost drivers and best practices to support pricing and long-term business partnerships. Stakeholder & Supplier Management Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs and ensure a competitive vendor landscape. Enable vendor innovations and technological solutions to support short and mid-term objectives. Transformation Leadership Drive transformation initiatives aligned with the PMF agenda. Identify and develop underutilized subcategories to unlock value and strategic opportunities. Coordinate and lead direct reports Qualifications ¿Who Are We Looking For? Required Experience & Skills: +4 years of experience in Category Management or Strategic Sourcing, preferably in indirect procurement or Facilities categories. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Industry background in Food & Beverage or other complex multinational environments is a plus. Previous experience leading direct reports in a team such as team lead or group leader. Strong analytical and financial acumen, with a solid grasp of business economics and value drivers. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing across matrix organizations. Proven ability to simplify complex concepts for executive-level audiences. Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal. Action-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
