What You’ll Do as a Global Process Owner – Payroll
In your role, you will be responsible for the design, adoption and maintenance of Global Payroll Process. You’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
Design, Embed and continually improve standard payroll processes with effective controlsEngage and Partner with stakeholders across the Employee Pay cycle to ensure alignment and seamless transfer to and from the Payroll ProcessDefines and maintains the process and control standards documentation, including building process level controls and any other controls to ensure strong internal controls environment.Responsible for Payroll RACMsResponsible for reviewing operational controls against SOX requirements.Oversee audits and exploratory sessions of the operational payroll process and statutory requirements.SME for Primark’s global payroll processes, building strong relationships with market teams and stakeholdersStandardisation and optimisation of global payroll processesOptimisation and standardisation of global governanceInfluence payroll partner strategy, ensuring our partners meet global process requirements.Promote best-practice globallySME input and approval for global change, the payroll eyes in cross-functional BAU and project changeEnsure adherence to global standards, keeping markets aligned to global process design.Maintain a holistic view of change across all marketsRepresent payroll globally on regular change forums and steerco’s
What You’ll Bring

10+ years Global payroll experience 7+ People management experienceHands-on approach to problem solving.Excellent Knowledge of GDPR and all Payroll related data compliance requirementsDemonstrable experience of working to deadlines and performing duties under pressure. Microsoft Excel knowledge to at least Intermediate level.Ability to see through tasks fully with minimal support ensuring team is kept on board and fully informed.Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills. Payroll ExpertExcellent leadership and communication skills including people management.Ability to influence and establish positive cross-functional working relationships across the businessExperience in managing multiple vendor relationships and resolving issuesAnalytical skills-Able to define problems, identify and recommend solutionsProject management and delivery experience.Exposure to SOX
