In the role of Global Process Owner, Record to Report you will lead regional and global standardization of processes in entity level RTR process, including ERP finance master data. You will strongly collaborate with HBC RTR Service delivery team and Group Reporting team and align with local ERP RTR teams (outside Shared services scope) for Hiab level RTR process. Strong focus on process improvement and automatization, by using Lean Six Sigma methodologies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. In this position, you will lead and/or supporting large scale projects like Process improvement initiatives, ERP implementation & optimizations or Enterprise Performance Management processes. You will also work with internal controls on development of RTR area.
This position is open for Helsinki, Finland or Sofia, Bulgaria.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Lead entity level RTR process development, aligning together with HBC (Hiab Business Center) RTR team and with Group Reporting Drive improvements and efficiencies for future ERP RTR process, along with the ERP roadmap defined project, and ensure compliance of the process Member of Group Control management team Member of the Hiab X process council and work along other GPOs in finance and other process areas Define, design, document, and maintain the global R2R process vision, strategy, and standardized end-to-end processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, best practices, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) Identify, prioritize, lead, and monitor R2R process improvement initiatives, focusing on simplification, standardization, automation, and efficiency gains to achieve performance targets Establish and enforce global R2R policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks and acting as the central point for escalations and deviations Collaborate with various internal teams (finance, IT, audit, business units, other GPOs) to ensure process integration and alignment, acting as an R2R subject matter expert, and engaging senior leadership on performance and strategic initiatives Partner with IT to define system requirements for R2R processes, including ERP implementations and other finance technologies, and drive the adoption and effective utilization of these systems and tools.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
Academic degree (e.g., MSc in business and economics)
Working experience:
10+ years experience in finance record-to-report processes in a global business environment, preferably with a global shared services set-up Strong capability in finance tools - especially in SAP ECC, experience in SAP S4 HANA is a benefit, Infor/LN knowledge, as well as understanding HFM or other EPM tools is also a benefit Understanding / experience of internal controls
Competence and skills:
Extensive knowledge of all functional components within the RTR function: deep accounting and finance background, technology experience, reporting, fixed assets, closing and consolidations, intercompany experience, and GL design experience Ability to understand, interpret and develop finance processes Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders around the organization in different levels Executing for results, experience in leading / working in different kinds of projects Understanding of LEAN 6S methodologies Relationship building, strong communication, presentation and cooperation skills Proactive working approach, high energy and drive to execute changes in matrix organization Business acumen, result- and profit-orientation Full professional proficiency of written and oral English is mandatoryYou will be part of
