As the Global Pricing Director, you will shape and lead our global pricing strategy across all regions and product lines. Your role is pivotal in developing pricing capabilities, governance, and tools to drive sustainable, profitable growth. This senior position demands strong influence and collaboration with regional and country commercial teams to embed pricing excellence within the organization. You will report directly to the VP of Global Channel and Excellence and work closely with Regional Commercial Leaders.
This hybrid role requires frequent presence in the nearest Videojet office and involves international travel (up to 25%). You will partner with regional and country-level commercial leadership and product management to implement pricing strategies that reflect local market dynamics while aligning with global standards. In this role, you will:
Lead global pricing strategy and execution in alignment with overall commercial objectives.
Strengthen pricing discipline and performance across markets by supporting and challenging commercial leaders.
Design and implement internal, data-driven pricing tools (e.g., price waterfall, price variance analysis, global growth room for price impact).
Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategic pricing countermeasures for pricing gaps.
Build and govern pricing frameworks, processes, and training to elevate pricing maturity.
Collaborate with Product Management to maximise value pricing and price realisation.
Lead and develop a team of pricing and data management professionals.
Partner with regional and country-level commercial teams to tailor pricing strategies to local market dynamics.
Define and manage global pricing governance, including CPQ setup, discount corridors, and escalation processes.
Analyse and report pricing KPIs and trends to senior leadership.
Drive adoption of Price Waterfall methodology globally.
Develop scalable tools for price monitoring and impact modelling using ERP data.
Collaborate with IT to harmonise pricing-relevant data across systems.
Provide strategic coaching on pricing execution, segmentation, and value-based pricing.
Guide pricing strategy during annual financial planning and ensure smooth regional execution.
Champion a culture of pricing accountability and commercial discipline.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
Minimum 10 years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management in B2B industrial/manufacturing.
Proven team leadership experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple ERP systems.
Proven expertise in Price Waterfall methodology and B2B pricing models.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or internal platforms; pricing software experience is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
