The Global Portfolio Manager is responsible for developing critical tools and processes that enable and accelerate the global product management, global vertical marketing and global commercial teams’ success.  This role partners with marketing and sales leadership to identify key opportunities to accelerate success, create a plan to address those opportunities, identifies resources required to execute and then lead execution of that plan.  This role will be involved in building tools and process that impact all aspects of commercialization requiring leadership and strong collaboration in commercialization activities spanning strategic (new product development; new market identification) through tactical (end-user marketing and aspects of the selling process.)

This position reports to the Director of Global Product Management and is part of the Energy+ Marketing Team.  This position will be an on-site role with primary location of Deland, FL.  Other possible locations are Cortland, NY; Timonium, MD; Port Washington, NY or Portsmouth, England.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Identify, prioritize and manage an opportunity funnel for tool/process improvement based on key KPI analysis (Core Growth; Margin; Working Capital); input from marketing and sales leadership; and voice of associate (VOA).Lead implementation of process improvements through cross-functional partnership, workshops or – when needed through DBS tools (PSP, VSM kaizen, TPI kaizen, etc).Drive market insight capability through the creation of standard work for execution of market insight and analysis – including market sizing, share and growth projections.Drive working capital improvement aligned to the Pall product lifecycle management strategy, through creation of focused marketing and commercial programs that reduce/eliminate unwanted inventory in order to fund future investmentDemonstrate organizational flexibility by frequently serving as a key team member for global marketing VP and other senior Energy+ leadership when ad hoc company strategic projects are identified that need organizational support.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree preferredMinimum 7 years relevant commercial or marketing experienceDemonstrated success in role(s) requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration; including success navigating a cross-functional, matrixed organizationStrong oral and written communication skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 25% globally – with overnights up to a week in length at a time

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Preferred experience in oil and gas, industrial and/or chemical industriesConducting Voice of Customer research with application of learningsGathering market intelligence to make product price and scope recommendations.Experience with product lifecycle management and market segmentation

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
