This position is based in Tampa FL. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely.

As a Global Physical Security Manager Senior you will report to a Director of Global Physical Security.

The Global Physical Security Manager Senior plays a key leadership role within the Global Physical Security team, providing expert guidance on security policies, procedures, and methods. This position will report directly to the Director of Global Physical Security and is responsible for advising on implemented physical security countermeasures, with key supporting roles in physical security Merger & Acquisitions integration and ATM protection.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Act as the lead advisor for physical security specialists interacting with technologies and countermeasures, including systems supporting, ATMs, and other high-risk environments.
• Serve as the primary advisor for physical security specialists, guiding the application and use of advanced security technologies and countermeasures. Including systems supporting ATM’s and other high-risk environments.
• Represent Global Physical Security during all merger and acquisition activities, ensuring new locations, employees, and assets are assessed and integrated into the physical security framework.
• Provide subject matter expertise and advise on the development, review, and refinement of physical security policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational risk and operational needs.
• Oversee ATM and other protection strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide security expectations and emerging threat trends.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to physical security systems and technologies based on business needs and the evolving threat landscape.
• Continuously analyze operational needs to identify and recommend enhancements to physical security systems in alignment with business, operational demands and evolving threat landscape.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies to support the advancement of the physical security program.
• Participates in and represents PNC on the ABA council.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in physical security leadership managing large teams, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment preferred.
• Strong background in physical security systems and technologies, including surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and ATM security.
• Experience representing physical security in mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise transitions.
• Deep understanding of physical security risk, regulatory expectations, and operational security frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives at the enterprise level.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job DescriptionImplements the overall corporate physical security strategy and all physical security programs, policies and procedures within multiple regions.Contributes in the development of physical security policies and coordinates planning and response procedures with PNC's Risk, Business Continuity and Crisis Management teams. Communicates with peer banks regarding mutual security concerns. Meets with federal (FBI), state and local law enforcement and acts as liaison with Homeland Security.Maintains the safeguarding of employees, buildings, technology and materials. Evaluates existing procedures. Monitors concerns with security on a continual basis and identifies proper applications to mitigate areas of risk with a long-term view and plan which impact one or more markets. Performs security assessments and risk analysis of major buildings, bank branches and physical security equipment.Oversees contract terms for vender relationships and ensures that all service level agreements are met. Supervises the coordination of maintenance with outside vendors and contractors including guards, alarm monitoring, physical and electronic security installations, video surveillance and ATM's.Manages regional physical security managers. Develops the overall training program to validate all training objectives. Utilizes expert knowledge of subject matter and the ability to relate objectives in an effective manner.

Work ExperienceRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
