Role description:
To lead the delivery of complex, high-impact people data reporting and analytics that support strategic decision-making across Arcadis. The L5 analyst is a subject matter expert who mentors others, drives process improvements, and ensures data integrity and insight delivery at a global scale.
As a member of the Global Reporting Team, the Reporting Specialist is responsible for producing actionable reports that align with the organization’s goals, support strategic initiatives, and enable business leaders to make informed decisions. In addition, the Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders, streamline reporting processes, and advise on improvements to reporting systems.
Role accountabilities:
Report Generation: Responsible in gathering, producing and delivery of scheduled and adhoc global and regional reports coming from People systems such as Oracle HCM, Crunchr and Peakon.o Create, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc People/HR reports, including metrics such as headcount, turnover, diversity, employee engagement, and other key indicators.
o Attend to reporting requirements from employees and other stakeholders via Tickets in People Assist, emails or chat.
o Determine and apply the most effective way to generate and present data which meets the requestors requirement.
o Ensure that data sources and reporting methodologies are consistent with organizational standards. Train and help develop : Develop the reporting expertise of the People Reporting team by sharing best practices, classroom training and exposure to complex requests.
o Assist Team members in monitoring efficient and on-time delivery of reports.
o Ensures that service levels and reporting deadlines are consistently met.
o Initiate and/or helps in developing tools and processes to automate reports.
o Collaborate with other People teams when necessary to ensure successful delivery of reporting requirements. Data Quality & Compliance: Regularly review the quality and accuracy of data outputs delivered by the Reporting team. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and secure handling of sensitive people data
o Regularly audit People/HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency within the system.
o Collaborate with colleagues across teams to address data issues and discrepancies promptly.
o Ensure all reports align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, including data privacy standards like GDPR. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with People Business Partners, HRIS, and regional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
o Partner with People Teams, and Leadership Teams to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
o Act as a subject matter expert for reporting processes and tools. Process Documentation: Maintain SOPs and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives to support standardisation
o Construct and maintain interactive presentation of data interpretation and analysis. Tool Utilisation: Excellent knowledge in Troubleshooting in OTBI
o Coordinate with IT for resolution Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data visualisation
o Contribute to the implementation of new systems or tools, including managing change and preparing documentation. Data Analysis and Insights : Analyze HR data to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
o Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in reporting to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 4-6 years’ of experience in HR analytics or reporting roles. Expert-level proficiency in Oracle OTBI, Crunchr, Excel, and Power BI. Strong understanding of global HR processes and data governance. Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and adapt to organizational changes. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.Why Arcadis?
