Mass General Brigham (MGB) Global Advisory is the system-wide platform providing leading advisory services and affiliation opportunities to international clients around the world. This exciting business combines a broad, existing set of advisory capabilities from the MGB academic medical centers and specialty hospitals with an enterprise team to support Mass General Brigham's four-part mission of care delivery, research, education, and community health. The Consultant plays a critical role in the success of Global Advisory by playing a key role in the planning and execution of Global Advisory's client-facing work, taking responsibility for implementing multiple work streams on larger, more complex projects concurrently. The Consultant also plays a key role in growing our business by facilitating the business development life cycle in collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups.
Essential Functions
-Defines and delivers high-quality advisory work that meets goals and objectives of an engagement through ownership and delivery of multiple work streams in either a single or multiple projects.
-Establishes and deploys the appropriate project management methodology, prioritizing the delivery of work products on time and on budget.
-Develops compelling written deliverables with minimal oversight by developing and delivering persuasive, high-quality presentation materials.
-Reports on project performance; identifies opportunities for improvement and proposes corrective action.
-Oversees and manages project risks, proposing corrective action. Escalates more nuanced and complex issues as appropriate.
-Reports on project’s budget; identifies trends, escalating concerns when appropriate.
-Supports the Deal team by facilitating and coordinating the key operational steps of the sales cycle from lead to executed contract.
-Develops priced engagement proposals with moderate oversight, with inputs from potential client and deal team.
