I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge. **Job Description** **About the Role** This role provides hands-on support, coaching, and guidance to site-level Operational Excellence (OE) teams within their geographical region, driving the implementation of process improvements, workflow optimization, and capability building to achieve operational excellence. You will facilitate the successful deployment of AGILE Operating System (=AOS: Takeda’s defined Operational Excellence Operating System) elements and facilitating significant, measurable improvements in operational performance. As a strategic leader, you will directly interact with site leadership teams & BE teams across multiple sites, ensuring best practices are shared and adopted across sites to support Takeda’s global transformation goals. **How You Will Contribute** + Lead AOS Deployments: Guide and actively support AOS rollouts at regional manufacturing sites, ensuring sustainable value creation. + Coach and Build Capabilities: Deliver Green, Black Belt and AOS (Lean) trainings, mentor OE teams and leadership, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. + Shape Roadmaps: Co-create site-specific AOS roadmaps aligned with network strategy, prioritizing maturity and measurable impact. + Assess and Sustain Excellence: Conduct maturity and proficiency assessments to maintain AOS standards and ensure operational readiness. + Drive Strategic Initiatives: Support eAGILE Roadmaps and contribute to global Factory of the Future and Business Process Optimization programs. + Facilitate Collaboration: Partner with site leadership, network strategy teams, and CI squads to execute initiatives and share proven practices. + Monitor Progress: Track performance outcomes and support impactful storytelling through eAGILE Highlights and strategic reports. + Solve Complex Challenges: Lead special projects and troubleshoot operational issues with a pragmatic, data-driven approach. **What You Bring to Takeda** + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s or advanced certification (AOS Master, Master Black Belt) preferred. + At least 10 years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and 5 years in operational, quality, or technical services roles. + AOS Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required). + Deep expertise in Lean methodologies, change management, and continuous improvement. + Strong project leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities. + Ability to influence across all levels—from the shop floor to executive leadership. + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. + Comfortable navigating global matrix environments with limited resources. + Self-starter and team player with a passion for coaching and process excellence. + Commitment to Takeda’s values of Integrity, Fairness, Honesty, and Perseverance. + Embraces diversity and thrives in a multicultural, collaborative setting. + Willingness to travel **More about us:** At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. **For Location:** Lexington, MA **U.S. Base Salary Range:** $174,500.00 - $274,230.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
