Global Marketing Director - Oil & Gas + Resources

Your primary responsibilities will include developing Indorama’s market segment strategy, technology plan, and innovation program leading and ensuring implementation globally, translating innovation initiatives into concrete short- and long-term results for the organization. **What will be expected from you?** **Marketing:** + Global Market View: Develop a solid view of the global market, with special attention to the USA market, which is the main region for this segment. Understand consumer trends and needs in different regions, especially the USA. + Strategy Proposition and Execution: Propose and execute marketing strategies that align the company's objectives with market needs. Validate new project introductions to ensure alignment with product and asset strategies. + Customer Relationship: Establish and maintain relationships with customers at all levels of Marketing, R&D and innovation, aiming to capture, execute, and deliver results related to the technology plan. Promote customer-focused discussions to accelerate knowledge sharing and discuss growth and innovation strategies. + Financial Performance: Design and deliver results from innovation initiatives. Ensure return on investments in internal TS&D/R&D team resources and laboratories, as well as external projects. **Innovation and Customers:** + Lead the definition and implementation of the O&G + Resources marketing strategy by working closely with the sales team, through performance management programs and influencing customers to achieve target results + Connect new more profitable applications with our technical and production development. + Develop communications strategy and implement it, such as, digital initiatives, trade conferences, events, collaterals (catalogues, brochures, interviews, customers' presentations). + Validate new project introductions to guarantee alignment with Product and Asset Strategies + Expand the technology plan for a minimum of 5 years defining technology focus, goals for Indorama, results related, resources and actions to advance Indorama's capabilities and deliveries on innovation + Establish relationship with science and technology organizations creating access to best resources in technologies and knowledge related to the technology plan. - Establish agreements on projects and consultancies to support the innovation program / Open Innovation + Establish a relationship with customers on R&D and innovation in all levels aiming to capture, execute, and deliveries related to the technology plan + Provide comprehensive Market and Technical Materials to support the efforts of the direct sales team: + Detailed product specifications, technical datasheets, and whitepapers that explain the features and benefits of the products. + Technical Training: Workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge of the sales team. + Strategy Materials: Market analysis reports, competitive analysis, strategic planning documents, and business plans. + Promotional Materials: Catalogs, brochures, interviews, and presentations for clients. + Digital Initiatives: Online marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and digital content creation. + Trade Conferences and Events: Participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and services. + Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools: Software and tools to manage customer interactions and track sales performance. + Market Research: Reports and insights on market trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments. + Sales Strategy Documents: Plans and strategies to target specific markets, segments, and customers. **Operational Excellence:** + Establish resource allocations according to the technology plan and intended results balancing short and long term deliverables and results + Lead discussions and implement management protocols with focus on improvement and implementation of the technology plan, aligning with areas of Commercial, TS&D, Field marketing and others related to project running and introduction of new technologies - products and applications + Guarantee protection of Indorama’s inventions through Intellectual Property and/or trade secrets strategies + Guarantee freedom of commercialization on technologies developed by Indorama in regard to other companies' intellectual property + Manage technology agreements - Non Disclosure Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, etc - guaranteeing risk management, compliance with terms of agreement, proper management of third parties information and the proper capture of value on Indorama’s efforts on projects and innovation. + Establish a 5 year plan for competences and resources development - Define Laboratory internal and external resources/capabilities for Indorama in global terms **What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?** + Chemical Engineering Degree or related science + MBA or Master program preferred + Required 10+ years of experience in multinational companies in marketing, product management and business development in the chemical production space + Experience of developing, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet company objectives + Proven experience/expertise in strategic marketing methodologies: market segmentation, assessment techniques, strategic planning, and strategy formulation + Multi-cultural oriented and willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals + Experience in Digital Marketing + Strategic thinking & technical analysis skillset + Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to read, speak, and write English. **What do we offer?** A competitive compensation package, including: • Health insurance • WellHub / TotalPass • Life insurance • And other exclusive benefits The division you’ll be joining is a global leader in the chemical industry.
