Position Summary:
The position is situated within the Network Services team part of the Chubb Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization. Seeking a global network engineering lead with extensive experience in networking technologies to manage the network engineering team, work with regional senior managers and executives, lead large scale project architecture & design and manage global 3rd party vendors. 

 

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

Lead the Network Architecture & design team on new projects and initiativesLead design and oversee the implementation of complex projectsManage 3rd party contractors as necessary for critical projectsAssist in the creation of financial business cases and tracking for network services spend within the regionCreate the necessary high level and low-level design documentation for the delivery and operational team hand-offsProvide Operational deployment guidance and assistanceAct as a reference and resource to leadership and Operations organizations

 

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Extensive and recent experience in network technologiesDemonstratable experience in deploying large scale projects and working with 3rd party vendorsExtensive experience in managing WAN vendors and contractsKnowledge of BGP, OSPF, & EIGRPSD-WAN knowledge a plusStrong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesUnderstanding of standard network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, VRRP, CDP, etc.Strong writing skillsAbility to manage 3rd party vendors for delivery of implementation servicesDemonstrate knowledge across a range of technology towers outside of network specialties Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in large scale enterprise networksDemonstratable skills in managing a global team of senior engineersProven skills working with peers and 3rd party vendors for the delivery of large-scale projectsMinimum 5 years expertise in the design delivery of network technologies and servicesWANData Center routing & switchingApplication Load balancingDNS/DHCPBranch/Campus networkingWi-Fi and mobile user access - VPN

 

The pay range for the role is $190,000 to $220,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
