In this position...

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Global IT Alerting Services Lead to manage and support our critical incident and alerting systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of Everbridge, facilitating its transition to ServiceNow On-Call, and advising on broader IT alerting and event management strategies. The ideal candidate will provide essential 1st-level support, guide system enhancements, lead project implementations, and foster strong relationships across internal teams and with vendors.

This is a hybrid position in Allen Park, MI and the team is onsite four days per week. 

 

You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 5 + years of experience with IT Implementations (large scale) requirements/design/testing, etc. 2 + years of experience with ServiceNow implementations 5 + years of experience with other IT Service Management tools or platforms

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field ITIL Foundation or higher certification strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to interface with all levels of salary and hourly teams Self-directed with ability to support variety of tasks Strong problem-solving skills  Strong communication skills ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or other relevant ServiceNow certifications

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.

What you'll do...

Provide 1st level support for Everbridge configuration, user onboarding, and incident/request management Offer guidance and best practices for Everbridge enhancement requests Manage and lead the implementation and configuration within Everbridge solutions based on prioritized new demands or critical break-fix items Act as a key liaison with Everbridge leadership to align on annual/quarterly maintenance and implementation within the Ford environments Manage and lead the project configuration / deployment for the migration from Everbridge to ServiceNow on Call paging and support future Proof of Concepts (ie Event management) Oversee and advise on ServiceNow IT Alerting, Advisory, and Event Management processes using existing platform tools Build and maintain strong relationships with internal service teams, application owners, and vendors Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and training materials Analyze recurring issues and trends to identify root causes, proposing and implementing long-term preventive solutions
