For our division Eurofins Central Laboratory in Breda we are looking for a Global Inventory Manager.

Job Description

The global Inventory Manager plans,controls, and optimizes stock, forecasting demand, setting reorder points, reconciling counts, and tracking KPIs—to keep the right products available without locking up excess capital. Partnering with purchasing, logistics, suppliers, and finance, they balance service levels and cost while driving cycle counting and demand‑driven MRP improvements.

Oversee daily inventory management and stock control proceduresMaintain accurate inventory records and audit regularlyForecast inventory needs based on trends and business requirementsCollaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to manage stock flowDevelop and implement inventory policies and loss prevention strategiesEnsure timely stock replenishment and minimize overstock or shortagesUse inventory software and ERP systems for data tracking and reportingMonitor and improve inventory accuracy and efficiency metricsCollaborate with Project Delivery to standardize articles and kitsDevelop and maintain KPI’s, and report to Senior leadership

 

QualificationsStrong analytical and organizational skillsProficiency in inventory software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of supply chain and warehouse processesAbility to lead a team and communicate across departmentsAttention to detail and time management
