**Job Title:** Global Inventory Leader – Advanced Visualization Solutions
**Location:** Global (Preferred: North America or Europe)
**Reports To:** Global Planning Executive - AVS
**Role Summary**
The **Global Inventory Leader** is responsible for leading and optimizing inventory management and process improvements across the **Advanced Visualization Solutions** . This strategic role will develop and implement a vision for inventory excellence, driving initiatives that improve materials utilization, fulfillment, and operational efficiency across global sites. Recognized as a subject matter expert, the incumbent will influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels, including senior leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Serve as the **global inventory process owner** across the Advanced Visualization SBU, ensuring alignment with production plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Develop and execute inventory strategies that optimize turns, reduce excess and obsolescence, and support business growth.
+ Coordinate activities across Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Regional teams to support on-time delivery and sales execution.
+ Ensure clear and proactive communication with regional and modality teams regarding manufacturing fulfillment status and inventory levels.
+ Integrate inventory planning with New Product Introductions (NPIs), driving phase-in/phase-out strategies and implementing design-for-fulfillment models.
+ Partner with planning and manufacturing leaders to optimize regional inventory and drive continuous improvement.
+ Lead SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes with a focus on inventory health and responsiveness.
+ Influence strategy development and policy formulation within the inventory function.
+ Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve inventory processes and tools.
+ Lead or support cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and inventory visibility.
**Quality & Compliance Goals**
+ Comply with all applicable quality manuals, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Complete all required Quality & Compliance training within defined timelines.
+ Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns, taking immediate corrective action as needed.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline and 8+ years of supply chain experience.
+ Demonstrated leadership in energizing global teams and managing cross-functional projects.
+ Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems, inventory optimization tools, and statistical problem-solving methodologies.
+ Proven ability to deliver results in complex, ambiguous environments.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Preferred:**
+ MBA or Master’s degree.
+ APICS Certification.
+ Lean Manufacturing experience.
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
+ OMLP (Operations Management Leadership Program) graduate, FMP (Financial Management Program) graduate.
+ Boundaryless thinker with strong influencing and change management capabilities.
