The Global Insights & Performance Director leads our approach to measurement and analytics to drive marketing effectiveness improvements, maximize ROI and deliver real-time campaign performance improvements in partnership with local Brand and Insights leads. This pivotal role is responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation, and connecting multiple pools of data to impact our ambitious growth objectives.

Meaningful Work From Day One
This role owns the data architecture and systems management that underpins our Performance suite of tools, while also partnering markets to scale adoption, increase capability and embed measurement practices. This encompasses development, implementation and rollout of internal Intelligence systems as well as external management working with our key performance partners. 
This role requires both functional expertise to build, maintain and onboard systems & tools, as well as strong leadership to drive transformation and set the expectations for usage (identifying core use cases, training/communication and support) to drive business performance. This role requires strong subject matter expertise as well as the ability to influence teams and drive change management. 
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of marketing analytics and performance measurement, coupled with strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Success in this role will require building strong and trusted relationships with local and regional stakeholders to understand their measurement needs, challenges and goals.

What You Can Expect

This role leads our Performance systems, frameworks and tools adoption and is pivotal in partnering with the Insights & Performance Leadership team and the Integrated Consumer Experiences team to deliver critical initiatives that drive performance growth across our portfolio. 

Measurement & Analytics: Lead the marketing measurement agenda with oversight of MMM and continued focus on advancing measurement solutions.

Systems Management: Oversee a complex infrastructure connecting multiple systems, ensuring efficient data operations and partner with teams to apply intelligence tools to drive business decisions.

Global Leadership: Drive global strategy and learning initiatives to advance measurement solutions, collaborating with diverse markets to demonstrate the impact of their campaigns on marketing performance. 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Lead:

Global ownership of Marketing Mix Modelling, including vendor partnership and data integration.

Oversee the global setup and standardization of MMM processes and methodologies.

Partner closely with market teams to ensure successful implementation of MMM recommendations deliver tangible performance improvements.

Advancing Measurement Solutions:

Deploy consumer segmentation models across markets to drive performance improvements.

Identify, develop, and pilot innovative measurement solutions to enhance our understanding of marketing effectiveness.

Collaborate with brand and market teams to develop measurement solutions delivering tangible outcomes for their performance goals.

Lead the global Test & Learn process, partnering with markets to prioritise programs and ensuring a systematic approach to experimentation and knowledge sharing.

Performance Intelligence Tools & Data:

Set up, maintain, and drive adoption of Search, Social & Competitive Media Monitoring Intelligence tools. 

Leadership of our offshore Analytics Hub to inform strategic decisions, providing centralized access to key performance insights supporting local market decision-making.

Operations Powerhouse Infrastructure:

Lead the Operations Powerhouse Infrastructure, supporting global rollout and overseeing specialist systems in partnership with our media agency.

Manage and optimize the media performance reporting dashboard (including in-flight and post campaign reporting), global taxonomy, and trafficking processes to ensure operational efficiency and data consistency.

What You Bring to the Table

8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, insights, data strategy, or a related field, with a significant portion in a global or multi-market environment. Background in media and creative performance is helpful. 

Proven expertise in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and its application to drive ROI improvements.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing advanced measurement solutions to deliver campaign performance improvements.

Experience with specific data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, LookerStudio, Supermetrics) and the ability to connect multiple pools of data and deliver a comprehensive view of performance.

Experience with social listening and search tools including evidence of leveraging intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights. 

Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading complex, global initiatives.

Proficiency in managing and optimizing data architecture and performance reporting systems.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
