Job Summary

Innovation is the key driver to achieving IFF Vision 2020 and beyond. The Project Manager for IFF’s Nourish Innovation is a pivotal role within the global innovation group, responsible for end-to-end project delivery using the Business Excellence stage gate process.

Successful project management in this role requires an organized and structured approach to formalize timelines and deliverables. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with Innovation Leaders to develop and execute innovative technologies and ensure their commercial implementation, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end project delivery for multiple innovation initiatives following the Business Excellence stage-gate process.Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and track complex innovation projects across I, C & D.Prioritize key commercial projects and resources, recognize interdependencies, remove barriers, tackle technical hurdles, and bring products to market.Manage division-wide projects as a community manager, promoting launches and benefits.Concurrently manage numerous programs, projects, and cross-functional initiatives.Facilitate project status meetings, capture minutes, and report status to innovation and technical leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders.Ensure traceability of innovation projects through documentation, project history, and organizational knowledge.Develop and utilize centralized methodologies, tools, and templates to streamline reporting and reduce bureaucracy.Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making.Create high-quality, visually compelling metrics reports, including revenue and adoption (pipeline & submission). Apply business acumen to derive insights and guide technology uptake.Draft and maintain communication documents for project status and documentation for internal stakeholders. Create visually appealing presentations for senior and executive leadership.Maintain excellent communication within the organization, ensuring smooth running of innovation projects.Ensure alignment of initiatives, actively collaborate with stakeholders in cross-functional teams, and drive results to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's in Applied Science or Business preferred.5+ years in the flavor or related industry.Background in flavor science, fermentation, starter culture, or enzymes preferred.Formal Project Management training is a plus.Proficiency with Waterfall or Agile environments.Experience with product lifecycle management.Expert skills in visual graphics, art and design, digital marketing, and PowerPoint preferred.Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness and emotionally intelligent communication skills.Effective leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills with emphasis on team culture, morale, engagement, and retention.Must be a go-getter, agile, and comfortable with change management.
