What You'll Do
This is not your typical job—and certainly not your average temporary role. For 6 months, you’ll step into one of the most unique and forward-facing positions in all of BCG. No other Practice Area has a dedicated role focused on measuring and articulating the real-world planetary impact and business value of our work with clients. If you're passionate about driving sustainability at scale and want a seat at the table where strategy meets environmental outcomes, read on.
As the 6-month temporary cover for the Global Impact Senior Manager for Climate & Sustainability (C&S), you’ll play a pivotal role in helping BCG deliver on its bold ambition: to be the most positively impactful company in the world.
C&S is at the forefront of BCG’s global agenda. We’ve made significant commitments to invest in and partner with clients to unlock sustainability transformation that creates both business value and tangible planetary outcomes. While minimizing our own footprint remains critical, our path to true, planetary-scale impact runs through the work we do with our clients—including the world’s largest emitters and polluters—to steer them decisively toward Net Zero and Nature Positive futures.

In this role, you will join the C&S Practice Area’s Management & Operations (M&O) team, helping to shape how we measure, express, and inspire action through the impact our work generates—environmentally, reputationally, and commercially. 4. Engage Global leadership and functions:
Prepare discussions with BCG’s most senior leadership forums, helping to shape the direction of our global sustainability strategyContribute to the development of our Annual Sustainability Report, ensuring our narrative reflects the full breadth and integrity of our impact.Liaise with Legal and External Communications teams to ensure ambitious yet responsible messaging, safeguarding BCG’s reputation and avoiding greenwashing risk
