GLOBAL HEAD: GEOC Reporting to the Head of Crisis and Special Risk Management, the Global Head of the Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC) will be a strategic leader in a dynamic environment, guiding the global security response strategy to protect all assets, employees, and property. This role requires being responsible for daily operations, leading an international team, handling budgets, and driving response priorities across the security organization. JOB DESCRIPTION: Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, including 5 years of leadership experience in relevant industries. Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Crisis and Special Risk Management, as well as senior executives across all business lines, guiding resources and coordinating responses within the Incident Command Framework. Crisis Management: Participate in the strategic response to incidents affecting people, property, and information, ensuring a comprehensive approach to crisis preparedness and resolution. Team Leadership: Build and support a globally distributed, high-performing team, encouraging collaboration, professional development, and an inclusive work culture. Industry Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with intelligence agencies, cybersecurity teams, legal professionals, and safety authorities to ensure informed decision-making and proactive risk management. Financial Oversight: Contribute in the financial strategy, ensuring efficient operations while driving productivity and efficiency. Operational Excellence: Continuously seek opportunities to simplify processes, remove barriers to success, and improve team efficiency in alignment with business goals. Performance Development: Provide clear direction, mentor, and feedback to empower employees and support their growth, applying Aon’s performance management principles. EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $109,400 - $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
