Your Future Role
As Global Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) you oversee and steer multiple factories, Procurement, Quality Management, Manufacturing Excellence and Supply Chain Planning with responsibility for the operational target achievement in the plants. This includes:
1. Global Supply Chain Strategy Development
Design and execute global SCM strategy (e.g. footprint & chain of economic value add) aligned with business objectives. Drive supply chain optimization across procurement, production (prefabriaction, pre-assambly, final assembly & testing) and logistics (inbound & outbound, storage)
2. Operations Management Across Global Sites
Secures a global footprint while considering the global manufacturing strategy incl. holistic capacity planning and plant balancing Coordinate supply chain activities across all manufacturing sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
3. Supplier and Procurement Management / Logistics and Distribution
Develop and maintain global supplier relationships and performance standards. Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier consolidation, and risk diversification (e.g.multiple sourcing) Optimize distribution strategies to reduce lead times and logistics costs.
4. Inventory and Demand Planning
Lead S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes to align demand and supply. Implement inventory strategies to balance working capital and service levels.
5. Team Leadership and Development
Lead a geographically dispersed supply chain team, fostering collaboration across time zones and cultures. Promote a culture of continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Management, Green Road is a KPS wording/Quality and Process control) and facts-based solution orientation
6. Digital Transformation and Technology Integration
Leverage data analytics for visibility and decision support. Champion automation and digitalization.
Your Profile
Technical university degree Long-term professional experience in global manufacturing, procurement & logistics, and enterprise-wide transformation. Strong cross-cultural leadership experience in a factory environment as plant manager or in a similar role Change Leader / Coach Mindset with strategic vision and data driven decision making and implementation mentality Resilient under pressure combined with operational excellence Fluent in German and English with the flexibility to travel worldwide
