As a Global Governance Engagement Leader – Vice President within the Business Admin Initiatives team, you will have proven leadership experience working in a fast-paced Banking Operation environment, coupled with Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of LIQ, risk and control frameworks, all aspects of internal controls, and issues management, Develop and monitors the risk management and governance framework.  You will have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, which will be mission-critical for this role as it involves liaising with key stakeholders and collaborating with senior business leaders on important initiatives.

Job responsibilities

Establish and maintain enterprise-wide control governance framework, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability in accordance with internal standardsProvide oversight to ensure adherence to control policies and procedures from the first line of defenseWork closely with Control owners and leadership to ensure the control framework is aligned with changing internal, industry, and regulatory environmentProvide input to materials used to promote awareness and understanding of Control governance to partners enterprise-wide
Develop and update control-related policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal requirementsCollaborate with other leaders to ensure a consistent approach to risk and control management across the organizationCollaborate with internal Risk & Compliance partners to ensure the framework is aligned with regulatory commitmentsFunction as liaison with internal partners on control matters related to SOX / SOC 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Direct experience/expertise in Global GovernanceProven banking experience, and or, equivalent experience at a multi-national Financial Institution or consulting firmAbility to set standards and drive excellence within a teamCritical thinker with superior problem-solving abilities who can organize and manage people and resources to effectively prioritize issues and respond to senior management, Boards, and key stakeholdersRobust communication written/oral skills, ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and concise mannerAbility to engage a diverse set of stakeholders, build long-term relationships, and create a collaborative and approachable environmentAbility to think strategically, execute with precision and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
