Global Gaming FP&A Manager

The Global Gaming Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager will be primarily responsible for managing all planning and forecasting activities for Global Gaming (GG), across all brands. This will include revenue forecasting, expense management, and capital planning; as well as enhancing GG operating model. The position will also be involved in GG monthly performance reviews, enhancing our existing reports and providing insightful schedules to support continuous improvement decisions at GG. Critical to this role is having great people management skills and leadership to empower its direct analyst report and create an optimal working environment to allow the FP&A team to thrive, provide meaningful value and be seen as a trusted partner group to support Global Gaming growth.               

Essential Functions:

Lead in the preparation and submission of annual planning activities & ongoing forecasts for Senior Leadership.                                                                         Provide leadership and direction to an analyst, fostering a high-performance work environment that promotes productivity, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.                                                               Lead monthly performance reviews for the Global Gaming business to analyze trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business results. Identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement. Present findings to Directors and above, serving as the foundation for several cross-functional action items across the organization.           Manage Capital Monthly reviews and creation of CARs, including CAR Analysis Report and managing the CAR tool.                                                                         Assist with special and ad-hoc projects as required including process improvements and automation, improvement in reporting capabilities, and expense tracking/analytics.          

Qualifications: 

BS/MA in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics 5+ years of experience in a related position

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective project and time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.  Leadership and management skills.  Creating the optimal work environment to maximize FP&A Analyst productivity and satisfaction. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, experience with IBM Cognos (TM1), Oracle Financial Systems and Tableau required. Power Apps/BI and SQL a plus.  CPA and/or GAAP knowledge is a plus.

Physical Demands: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
