Your role :
Responsible for inbound Freight/Duty cost and year-over-year savings globally (targeting ~14M in 2025), executing budget, fcst and actuals reporting, and working with PC&L and plant finance teams to drive the team to execute the plan and anticipate risks.Responsible for Design year-over-year savings globally (targeting ~30M in 2025), executing budget, fcst and actuals reporting, and working with engineering and plant finance teams to drive the team to execute the plan and anticipate risks. Implement model and monthly process to estimate Inventory Variance Capitalization, working closely with the plants and central teams (SCM and PC&L) BBP Material cost/savings consolidation/calculation/reconciliation (3+ rounds per year), reports and analysis, working and collecting data directly from sites and central functions (PC&L, Engineering, SCM) InternalBe a source of accounting/finance expertise to the SCM global team, ensuring there is a bridge and understanding between their operational actions and financial recognition in Aptiv’s statements.Guide other professionals from local/plant teams to global organizations, sharing her/his technical accounting/finance knowledge to support multiple analysis. - Spontaneous projects to drive change in global SCM finance processes, boosting financial fcst accuracyYour Background:
At least 3-5 years of work experience in finance/controlling (ideally working at plant level with SAP, material/SCM, Bill of Materials and product costing)Eager to learn, advanced problem-solving abilities and passion for new challenges with a sense of urgency in a very dynamic business scenarioPro-active and autonomous team player in a global environment, flexible to work with international timelines/deadlines and to manage multiple stakeholders across different time zonesAnalytical & structured mindset, always working acting like owners and with data to draw conclusions in an unbiased wayStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to be able to effectively manage several stakeholders with different seniority levelsProficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc) and experience in using SAP to extract data Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with major in Finance - Fluent in English (writing & speaking selected.Why join us?
